How does this air purifier clean the air?

Dirty air enters the air inlet where it is filtered first by high efficiency filtration, passing through a 3 layer filter. The antibacterial pre filter then destroys the airborne bacterias and traps the larger sized particles. Next, the air passes through a Germicidal UV lamp which is focussed on the air filter eliminating the potential for bacterial cultures to grow on the filter. Purfied air, after being combined with negative ions then is emitted for you to breathe. Air purifiers are recommended for those with allergies, asthma, lung diseases and multiple chemical sensitivities. Check with your physician before attempting to self treat any health condition.

Air Filtration goes through six different phases:

1. Ant-Bacterial Pre-filter- This filter eliminates harmful micro-organisms from the air, including bacteria, viruses and molds.
2. Activated Carbon filtration- removes odors, smoke and the fumes. A highly absorben material. A must for those sensitive to cigarette smoke and chemicals
3. HEPA filtration- by definition, HEPA filtration removes 99.97% of airborne particulates, allergens and dust. HEPA is the the gold standard in air purification.
